Big and Long Sofas
We make sofas in long standard lengths, but can also make them almost any length to order, either as separate, straight couches or as sectional sofas. We also offer them with three different seat depths and four back heights. They are made in your choice of several designs, all of which feature heavy-duty sofa frames mostly of solid oak, in various wood finish colors and thousands of fabrics, or in your own fabric.
Our standard three-seat sofa lengths are 72", 81", and 90" between the arms (but keep in mind that special lengths are also offered). Depending on which arm style you choose, the overall lengths are greater, as little as 4" longer than the above lengths, or as much as 11" longer, or in between. They are all made to be disassembled to flat pieces and re-assembled easily, for convenient moving through almost any passageway or doorway. Shown at right: A 101" sofa in our Virginia model. We have heard that people have a hard time finding sofas that are a full six feet between the arms. Our smallest three-seat sofa is six feet between the arms. The next size up, 6'9" between the arms, allows even a very tall man to stretch out on it without having to bend his knees. The size shown here (90" between the arms) allows somebody to stretch out while leaving room left over for a partner to sit next to him or her. Since we offer arms that are as little as 2" wide, you can have a sofa with lots of sitting and reclining space without its taking up too much space in your room.
